T.K. Garbo (謝勤的英文笔名)is a Singaporean who grew up in Hong Kong with a deep love of books and writing.

She put aside her literary aspirations to pursue a commercial career. After graduating from the University of Sydney, she worked for the Big Four accounting firms in Hong Kong and Singapore, participating in the restructuring of  Chinese state- owned companies for Initial Public Offerings in the US and Australia.

In the Commericial Field, she was again involved in IPO Project in  Singapore. In 2008, she was in charged of an acquisition project in New Zealand. After the transaction completed, she served as the CEO of an New Zealand aircraft manufacturing group from 2009 to 2015. And She became the first Asian CEO in New Zealand Aviation Industry(Aircraft Parts, Aircraft Design & Aircraft manufacturing Certificates)

She is a Fellow member of Australian Society of CPAs, a Member of Hong Kong Institute of CPA, an Associate Member of the Chamber of Hong Kong Listed Companies dikansolution@gmail.com,  the Fellow member and Member Committee of  the Taxation Institute of Hong Kong. 

 Mission from Gondwana marks Garbo's return to Creative writing. It also accords with her deep commitment to social and charitable causes,

1)In 2016, she donates the First Edition of English Version of "Mission from Gondwana" to the BirdLife International 120 Global partners, see both New York Press Release and Donation Ceremony Press Release at Hong Kong Royal Yacht Club.

2)In 2016, she acts as Vice Chairman of the Organising Committee of  Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra Fundraising Concert (Mar2016),  and Committee Member of the Organising Committee of Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra Fundraising Dinner (Sept 2016)

3)She acts as the Vice Chairman & also the Treasurer of the Hong Kong Tianjin Business & Professional Women Association.

4)In 2015, she co-organised the Sheen Hok Fans' Charity Concert  with the celebrated philanthropist,  Professor Alice Chiu Tsang Hok Wan BBS. JP to raise funds for the Amblyopia Program serving improverished children in China.(Venue at Hong Kong Cultural Center, Concert Hall with 2005 audiences)
